listening to Ethel Cain’s powerful song Ptolemaea I instantly though of Brigham Young’s 19th wife, Ann Eliza Young. She was 21 when married against her will to 64 year old Brigham. Four years later, not only did she divorce him, she sued the bastard for the 1880’s equivalent of $10 million dollars and wrote a scathing expose. Her and her family were promptly excommunicated.
